Ren steps into full-blown bubblegum pop with GameBoy. The lyrics are as scattered with videogame references as the backing track, perfectly crafted by the talented Aurel Baker (Subtonic24).

Take Wing

Take Wing is Ren’s first full-length, studio album. 11 songs that highlight her folk, singer/songwriter roots. From the toe-tapping beat of “Over the Limit”, the puns in “Pine”, the heartbreak of “Lost in Austin”, to the introspection of “Requiem”, Ren has a song for all seasons.

Galaxies

Released in November of 2022, “Galaxies” was another single that was originally part of a bigger project that was caught up in delays getting released. This song pulls from the ethereal style of “Petals of Ivory”, with haunting harmonies that float throughout the song.

Seminole Wind (Cover)

Ren has her roots in classic country and folk music. She has always been a fan of John Anderson’s classic, “Seminole Wind”, especially the lyrics. This single is her vision of his song reimagined at a slower pace, with more emphasis on lyrical content. The guitar is plucked softly and steadily by the talented Steve Nicosia.

Chocolate Wine

This single was released on June 1st, 2020. It was originally part of a larger album, however the COVID-19 pandemic brought production to a halt. In order to keep her team safe, the album was put on pause, and Ren released this single as a sneak preview of what is soon to come.

Chocolate Wine’s easygoing tune is deliciously juxtaposed with deep, introspective lyrics; much like the difference between bitter red wine and sweet chocolate.

Eclectic

Ren released her debut EP “Eclectic” on January 16th, 2018. It was named for the varying styles in which she wrote each song.

   With Celtic inspired flute and harp, this first song bring an ethereal sadness; the kind of tired sorrow where no more tears can be shed.

2. Constellations

   This upbeat fold tune weaves together a story of young love and all the nerves and laughs that come with navigating that liminal space between “friends” and “more than friends”.
